Building a brand for arguably the best sports shooter in the world was an honor to say the least. Doug Koenig has won over 70 national championships, 10 world championships and 18 Bianchi cups from his amazing career in competitive shooting. Coinciding with a new partnership with Ruger, Doug needed a brand to represent his legacy and to be the face for endeavors moving forward. CraterDust excitedly accepted the challenge.
Over several months we worked closely with Doug and his marketing team to create a brand identity. We delivered brand guidelines to include tone and voice, logo, typefaces, color schemes and usage. Additionally we captured press and editorial photography and created designs for web presence, social content and packaging. When it was all said and done, Doug Koenig debuted his new logo via a custom KOENIG edition Ruger SR1911 pistol.
